Objective

This SOP outlines the steps to upload a customer list to FloLoyal, ensuring compliance with texting guidelines and proper data management.

Key Steps

1. Understanding Cold Leads 0:09

• Cold Leads Definition: Customers who have not visited the nutrition club in the last 90 to 180 days.

• Recommendation: Avoid texting customers older than 6 months to prevent high opt-out rates.

2. Preparing Your List 1:15

• Export Your List: Ensure you have exported your HN MyClub list or similar loyalty lists.

• Use Google Sheets: Open Google Sheets to filter and prepare your list for upload.

3. Importing Your List into Google Sheets 1:49

• Open Google Sheets: Type 'Sheet' in your browser to access a blank Google Sheets page.

• Import Your File: Go to 'File' > 'Import' > 'Upload' > 'Browse' to select your downloaded file.

4. Filtering Your Data 2:40

• Create a Filter: Select the first row and go to 'Data' > 'Create a filter'.

• Sort Phone Numbers: Click the downward triangle in the phone number column and select 'Sort A to Z'.

• Select Unusable Rows: Identify rows with X's or stars in the phone number/email columns.

• Delete Rows: Select the rows and right-click to choose 'Delete row'.

• Download as CSV: Go to 'File' > 'Download' > 'Comma-separated values (.csv)'.

• Navigate to FloLoyal: Click on 'Contacts' on the left-hand side.

• Import Your List: Click 'Import' in the upper right corner, then 'Next'.

• Ensure Proper Mapping: Verify that customer name, phone number, and email are correctly mapped.

• Remove Unnecessary Columns: Deselect any unmapped columns that are not needed.

• Confirm Consent: Check the box confirming all contacts have consented to receive messages.

10. Starting the Bulk Import 9:44

• Initiate Import: Click 'Start bulk import' to upload your list.

• Check for New Contacts: Review the smart list to see newly added contacts.

Cautionary Notes

• Do Not Text Cold Leads: Ensure you have prior permission to text customers.

• Monitor Opt-Out Rates: Keep opt-out rates below 2% to avoid suspension of your phone number.
