Setting Double Point Days

Objective

This SOP explains how to turn on Double Point Days from the dashboard, configure the desired day(s), and save the settings so the promotion runs correctly. It also covers optional notification and scheduling settings to help communicate the promotion to customers and staff.

Key Steps

 

1. Open the Double Point Days settings page 0:00

  • From the Dashboard, locate the Quick Actions area.

  • Select the button that takes you directly to Double Point Days.

  • Confirm you are on the correct settings page before making changes.

 

2. Select the day(s) to promote and enable the feature 0:14

  • Identify the day(s) your business is slowest or the day you want to promote.

  • Choose the desired day(s) in the Double Point Days settings.

  • Toggle Enable to turn the feature on for those selected day(s).

 

3. Save the settings 0:23

  • After enabling the feature, scroll to the bottom of the page.

  • Click Save Settings to apply your changes.

  • Do not leave the page without saving, or your updates may not take effect.

 

4. Configure notifications and scheduling options 0:31

  • Review the available options at the bottom of the page.

  • Enable notifications if you want:

    • Customers to receive alerts.

    • Your team or business to receive alerts.

  • If needed, schedule a Double Point Day for a specific date.

  • Enter the date you want the promotion to run so the system can automatically apply double points.

 

5. Confirm the scheduled Double Point Day will run as expected 0:44

  • Verify the scheduled date is correct.

  • Confirm that the promotion is set to award twice as many points on that day.

  • Once scheduled, the system will automatically apply the Double Point Day on the selected date.

Cautionary Notes

  • Always click Save Settings after making changes; otherwise, the feature may not activate.

  • Double-check the selected day(s) and scheduled date to avoid running the promotion on the wrong day.

  • If notifications are enabled, ensure the messaging is appropriate before saving.

  • Confirm that the promotion aligns with your business goals and staffing plans before enabling it.

Tips for Efficiency

  • Use Double Point Days on historically slow days to help increase traffic.

  • Schedule promotions in advance to reduce last-minute setup.

  • Enable notifications to improve customer awareness and participation.

  • Review the settings page after saving to confirm everything is configured correctly.
